Millennium Exports is the parent company of ‘PetLikes’ brand; established in the year 2000 as a partnership firm in Chennai, South India. The CEO is Dr. Kaleemur Rahman, who holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Marine Sciences. He has several years of experience in pet animal food. A number of Senior Veterinary physicians and nutritionist from different parts of India are under the consultant panel of the company. Presently the company produces unique, novel and innovative dog chews, treats and dog food supplements. The company is exporting Ocean Chews (dog chews made from fish tail, fish fin, fish bone and fish skin) since 2005 to US, European Union, Hong kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. The company’s products include Fish based Chews, Meaty Treats, Bone Support Supplements, Coast Shine Supplements, Customizable Dog Food and Kibble Dog Food products.
‘Pet Likes’, was introduced as an indigenous premium dog food brand in 2016 in India. All products of Millennium Exports are developed with 100% indigenous technology and in-house R&D. The products are optimized for all Indian agro-climatic conditions. Millennium Exports has received a BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistant Council, Govt. of India Body) Award in 2013 for R&D under Green Technology category for utilizing byproduct of Fisheries Industry into a prime product of Pet Animal Food Industry. Our kibble dog food under the brand Pet Likes was awarded best MAKE IN INDIA AWARD in Petszoo 2016. All our products are 100% natural and do not carry any preservatives.
Dr. Kaleemur Rahman
Millennium Exports is a brain child of Dr.Kaleemur Rahman. Dr.Kaleem has a masters in Biology and a doctorate in marine organisms. All the products developed by Millennium Exports and displayed are under the direct guidance of Dr. Kaleem. His constant efforts lead the company win the prestigious Best Innovator Award by BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, a Govt. of India Body) under Green Technology category. Dr.Kaleem has 35 years of research and 25 years of administrative experience. He is presently the CEO of the company.
Syed Abdul Rahiman
Mr.Syed is an Industrialist and Entrepreneur. He is known in the field of leather tanning. He is a well-known philanthropist in his community circle. The success of Millennium Exports as a risky, novel and innovative venture is because of his entrepreneurship and management skills. Millennium Exports developed and marketed fish leather for the first time in India. He has vast experience of more than 35 years of management and 25 years in the area of manufacturing, production, administration and financial planning. Mr.Syed takes care of financial matters as CFO of the company.
Dr. Kadirvel
Dr. Kadirvel is a committed Animal Nutrition Scientist, well know in the veterinary circles of India and abroad. He served as the Prof. and Head of the Dept. of Animal Nutrition, Tamil Nadu Veterinary & Animal Sciences University. Dr. Kadirvel then became the Dean of Madras Veterinary College. He has over 40 years of experience in Animal Nutrition of which he spent several years of empirical research in Nutrition. He has over 100 scientific papers on Animal Nutrition. Besides research he has a very long teaching career in Nutrition Science. He has a strong passion for companion animals nutrition, which helped an Indian company to develop Pet Likes, an ultra premium dog food with 100% Indian R & D inputs and 100% indigenous technology and ingredients. Dr. Kadirvel is the first Indian Animal Nutritionist Scientist invited to the International Pet Food Conferences and Events of Global Pet Food Majors like IAMS, Purina and Royal Canin. Dr. Kadirvel is the honorary consultant for Millennium Export. The success of Pet Likes formulation is the joint effort of Dr. Kadirvel and Dr. Kaleemur Rahman, Director of Millennium Export.
